ABOUT
Creativity is right in your hands,
Hey there, lovely beginners! I’m Margaux, I’m 20, and I’m trying to be your friendly drawing helper. I’m very enthusiastic, and I’m here to sprinkle some drawings into your life. Drawing is one of my first passions, but I also like taking pictures, designing, making videos and short movies, that’s why I ended up studying communications. As an international student in Belgium, I try to not get bored so I draw a lot, and I’m going to share with you my drawings and obviously tips and ideas.
ME

hhhh
I miss my friends, they stayed in my home country, which is France. It’s not very far from Belgium you may have thought, yes, you’re right, but I had to travel 10 hours by car, so it’s quite a long distance. So, if you guessed, drawing helps me cope with the tough life alone here in Belgium, and my pencil has become my best friend… (maybe I’m overdoing it?)
But, Margaux, what
Now, you might be wondering, “Who is this crazy international student, and what’s with all the hype?” Well, let me give you the lowdown. I’ve embarked on a quest to spread the joy of drawing to all corners of the globe. And what better way to do that than through the internet?
So, what can you expect from my little blog called Odéon (yes I tried to find an original name)? From beginner-friendly drawing tutorials to hilarious anecdotes about my own artistic mishaps (trust me, there are plenty…), I’m here to be your drawing helper. Whether you’re a seasoned sketcher or a total newbie, there’s a little something for everyone here.
can we find here?
Because I believe that everyone can be an artist, and that everyone can learn and improve some skills if you’re passionate. That’s why I love this sentence: creativity is right in your hands.
Indeed, creativity is everywhere around us, but especially in our mind. And we can combine our creative mind and our hands, to create something we love! I want to help you all to become the artist you want to be, because the start is always the most difficult thing (and I’ve been there, trust me…). When I was a beginner I could never find some quick and easy learning tips, so I also created this blog to make young Margaux happy (Is it weird?).
.
But hey, enough about me – let’s talk about drawings! Drawing doesn’t have to be all serious business and perfectly straight lines (seriously, who has time for those?). It’s about embracing the imperfections, letting your creativity run wild, and having a boatload of fun along the way. So, if you’re ready to unleash your inner Van Gogh (or maybe just your inner doodle dabbler), you’ve come to the right place. I will try my best to help you all with my tips, ideas and support, with a touch of humor (I try too).
So let’s grab a pen, a paper and let’s become a drawer!
With happiness, Margaux (and don’t forget to watch my first vlog, just bellow)
